Hay,
evening all (late)
I just walked out w/ an $87 35hour TIVO !! He, he....
BUT, I got NO:
* instructions
* wires (i see there's a USB connection)
* software
I've ben hunting for one of these babies for a long
time! cheepist one i could find was for $159 opened.
Anyways, after asking a zillion quesitons (though
store man didn't know much about) After I made the
purchase, he said that I HAD to subscribe to their
service, and that the NEW plan is to subs. for a min.
of one year... that's there new thing, he said.
I don't know how much weight that one holds.
* Anyways, I want to see what the quality is like on
this thing. Is it didgitally recorded on hard drive,
or is it pixelated, or is it the same quality as if
I were watching it via my usuall sat tv viewing. . .
* maybe there are certain advantages to each model.
if there are such, I can share my model/ser and see
what's up, if any to take advantage, etc.
Any tips, advised to setup and operation, haks, comments,
experience, opnions, etc, etc are all welcomed.
Thank you all for your support.
