I double-click the shortcut file but nothing happens. Anyone know what the problem could be?

BTW, I have WinXP, anti-virus free atm. Is there some special codec I need to have installed prior? I already have the necessary codecs to play an MKV file.

I just tried 2.2.3 and it started fine after the installation here on my mac with windows vista with sp1.
