tmpgenc freezes when trying to convert these to vcd compliant. vdub wont open them because of restrictions by microsoft. Any suggestions on how I can encode these? One of them actually uses the asf extension, the other 2 use mpg as their extension. They all have the simular statistics and give me the same microsoft error on vdub.
Statistics on them:
frame rate: wmp wont tell me actual frame rate but it ranges from 22 to 24
resolution of the three vids: 240x180.asf, 320x240.mpg, 320x180.mpg
codecs in use:
voxware metasound
microsoft mpeg4 v2
I have tried all three and they freeze tmpenc while I have no problem with divx, avi, other mpgs
Please help, thx in advance

i'm not sure what windows you have but when u have windows 98 i know it lets you change the file extentions, like .asf you can change to .avi these will work all the time, but SOME programs recongize you switched it but maybe this one won't try it, i'm not sure if u can change it on any different windows or not i haven't tried on windows me, too lazy
