I'm wondering if anyone has had the following problem when trying to encode the audio with a DivX file or even when it comes to doing a real time capture.

When either converting or catpruing a DivX file, I find that when selecting the audio at DivX 128bps, 44khz, VirtualDub tends to take a bit to begin compressing and I was wondering if I should just leave it running or use a lower bitrate such as 64bps, 44khz which is listed as a recommended DivX audio setting.
