  1. Hi, I am adding subtitles to an .avi project in vdubmod. I can get the subtitles to display fine on the finished product, that catch is I need to display them higher up on the screen. The subtitles are .ass format, and I they are out of an .mkv container. The subfilter in vdubmod is just "textsub". Ive seen something about textsub2.23 but I cant seem to find it anywhere. Does that have options to shift the subs around? Any advice?

    Thanks

Try Aegisub, which is a dedicated .ASS file editor.

  3. lol.....I dont know what I did wrong....now I cant even get the subtitles to display on the video with textsub. I was messing with resize filter to try and and add some blocking to deal with my overscan issue, and I dont know what it would have affected....but now my subs wont work at all.......uuugh.

I use ffdshow, after enabling ffdshow to show the subtitles you can go in the sub settings and set them higher or lower.
I love it when a plan comes together!
