I have a problem when converting from flv to avi. I use SUPER and Riva to do this but both give a very low quality output and I cannot burn it to dvd.
My question is, how do I convert from flv to avi or any other format that can burn to dvd and have a high picture quality (preferably 720 x 480 video size) and burn it to dvd. Is this even possible?

Thank you for any help with this

If you source flv has good quality then yes it's possible or else Garbage In Garbage Out. I use avidemux or convertxtodvd to convert to mpeg2 or dvd directly from flv.

Can you tell me how to use avidemux? I used to have it before but it was too complicated so I uninstalled.

    Thank you!

Most flv files are not high quality and the res is typically 320x240 or smaller. So it's understandable why they don't look good at 720x480 on a large TV. Check the file specs before questioning why the tools aren't working.
