  1. i am trying to encode a divx avi fast n the furious file into a vcd. i am using the vcdhelp.com method of extracting the audio with virtualdub1.48. when i load the avi file into virtualdub i get a popup saying "vbr audio stream detected" and "vbr has detected an improper vbr audio encoding in the source avi file and will rewrite the audio header with the standard cbr values during processing for better compatibility. this may introduce up to 178742 ms of skew from the audio stream. if this is unacceptable, decompress the entire audio stream to an uncompressed wav file and recompress with a constant bitrate encoder.(bitrate 157.2 +- 38.7kbps)" so when i follow the instructions of not compressing the audio with virtual dub and saving the wav i still get audio thats not in sync with the video. any ideas on what i should try?
