  1. Can someone suggest me a good software. I found some free movies online, but I'm unable to download the streaming videos.

Free movies are not DRM protected.
Buy the DVD instead...as was suggested to you at least once before.

  3. I have also clearly stated more than once that if the movie is available in DVD in the place where I live I would not hesitate to buy. It is only for rare titles which we cannot find in any stores we opt to download from net. The movie is free to watch thats what I meant in my earlier post. If you cannot help its fine but atleast do not be rude.

Hope I have made myself clear.

After you watched the movie online, did you check your temp internet files to see if the file was still in your directory? As soon as the movie has completed loading, you should check your temp internet files. When using ie in XP, go to the tools pulldown menu, internet options, browser history, settings, view files. I don't know if this changed in vista. Good luck.

    That doesn't change this:
Free movies are not DRM protected.

DRM is not the same as "streaming". DRM files can be downloaded or streamed; streaming files can be freely used or restricted.

So you need to explain just what your problem is. I don't know if anyone would be annoyed if you gave the URL. For instance, ther have been many threads about capturing Flash movies from Youtube.

Some streams can be captured simply by looking at the source HTML and finding the URL of the object, then saving from (using eg Flashget). Others are trickier.
