So I'm using a software called ProCoder 3 which does a pretty good job. But I have a problem, whenever I try to encode a movie with AC3, doesn't matter if the source is Xvid or DVD .vob files I get no Audio. When I use regular MPEG2 stereo, everything works fine. The strange thing is that when do it in AC3 I get Audio when I play the movie with Media player classic, but it doesn't work with VLC, Power DVD 8, Media Player and a regular player when a burn the disc. It seams that the audio is there, but some player can't find it. How do I fix that?

procoder3 is mostly a video encoder. try to use it to only encode video. usually the encoder does mpeg streams and wav audio as output.

demux the audio from the video beforehand, use an audio encoder to do the audio work and then mux them together.
