Tool to create flv but use my own .mp3?

Is there such a thing as an app that will create an FLV but using an .mp3 that I make?

Or on the other hand, something that creates flv files that gives you a lot of control over the parameters of the .mp3 as say CDex?

The reason it's an issue is that I find with Any Video Converter, it seems to have issues with certain source .wav files. Some it does okay with, some it doesn't.

I've looked at various sites for ffmpeg but it's not clear to me how you install and use it. The download I see gives me a file called ffmpeg.rev12665.7z ffmpeg-checkout-snapshot.tar.bz2 FFmpeg-svn-12810.7z

I see there a thing called Avanti that's supposed to give you a GUI for it but again there's no .exe installation file, there's a file called avanti-024-package.7z

What am I supposed to do with these files?

well you've found the right gui.

they're compressed,
use 7zip to extract:

yes you have to put ffmpeg in the ffmpeg directory of avanti's
