    Hi,
I just tried to burn my first VCD and had a problem, it said I
didn't have enough memory. I am using Nero 5.5.5.1 and a Ricoh MP7080A
OT is Win98se and 256 ram, I don't have any problems burning other
stuff like mp3's and CD's. The file in question was only 9Mb and was already on my HD. Any idea's would be welcome.
    Thanks,
    Chris

  2. Excuse me asking this...but you are burning a VCD with 9mb????
You do realize that a VCD can go up to 80mins(800mb)on a 700mb disk.

I am only burning a 9 Mb file as a a test burn, not much point in trying to burn a big file yet until I can work out the problem with the 'Not Enough Memory' error message I keep getting.

while I ponder the possibilities, what are your virtual memory settings?
Also Try a newer release of nero. I think the newest is 5.5.6.4 or 5.5.6.7
something like that. I loose track after awhile. LOL.

  6. Same thing happened to me all day yesteday until I upgraded to the 5.5.4 version of Nero. Now I am not having that problem any more, just some new ones playing my VCD on my Yamaha DVD.

Just upgrade and your problem should go away.
