  1. I have a ENCORE ENLTV-FM TV Tuner & Capture Card w/FM PCI Interface. and it seems to work well. and I can hear the sound while listening to video while it is recording. However once I try to watch the video in something like microsoft media or something I have no sound. I have the cable TV CATV video cable hooked up and then a cable going from the sound output on the video card going to the import spot of the camputer. So Since I can here sound while recording why can I not hear anything while watching the recordrd video?

    That should work, but perhaps something is muted or turned down in your audio properties in Windows?



    Other possibility is you don't have a codec installed to play back the audio type that the card records in.

    or possible the sound is not actually being properly recorded and you are only hearing it directly through the mixer..
