  1. Can I make a copy of a homemade DVD movie after I accidentally deleted the iso file from my hard drive and emptied the recycle bin? I only have one DVD drive. Can I just copy the DVD back to my hard drive and then somehow burn that to another DVD? I would guess that there are programs that allow me to do this.

    You can use DVD Decrypter to make a new iso from dvd you have
    You can burn the iso to dvd with DVD Decrypter to

    ImgBurn:
    Mode: Read -- select source (DVD) and destination (ISO file)
    then the reverse
    Mode: Write -- select source (ISO file) and destination (DVD)

    Then click the green triangle "go" button

    Of course, ImgBurn & DVD Decrypter are perfect solutions.

    But the program, with that you normally burn your iso-file should also be able to this (Copy a DVD) As you only have one drive, it will make a iso copy on your HD.
