Well I am looking to capture a live event that goes for 2 day and has a total of about 10hrs per day if live capture. What I am looking for is a capture device that will allow me to break the video every 3 minutes and name it. All this has to be done on the fly. I am currently accomplishing this using adobe premeire. I am also looking at file sizes, I will be saving everything to an external 500gb hard drive, but i am wondering what type of file I can capture in that will save file size but also be suitable to play in household dvd players. Thanks for your input
