Hello to all of you friends.

After a few day's work, I have managed to connect my DVD recorder to my computer. I have actually managed to do what I wanted except for one particular piece of software

I have tried to capture video clips with media player classic...EVERYTHING FINE! Both sound and video. And decent quality as well!

Now I am trying in exactly the same way to record a file that can only play with DivX Player...However I stand no chance whatever I do. I only record the sound and a black file.

    Can anybody have a clue?

Sounds like an overlay video acceleration problem. Try set the tv/svideo-output to the primary monitor under the display settings.

    Hi again baldrick

It sounded like overlay problem to me. I have suggested in Nvidia settings to play in full screen on my DVD RECORDER (seen as TV by Nvidia Control Panel)

Seems fine now. A good capture

Thanks for your help, hope not to bother you again soon
