I have a Panasonic Lumix FZ7, which takes video in MOV format. I would like to upload it and add the datecode and timecode to the video, in the same way that DVDate does for DV-AVI uploads from my camcorder. Is this possible?
If I convert the MOV video to AVI using MP4Cam2AVI (using Source Video format -- no recompression and either PCM uncompressed or Lame MP3 audio), DVDate opens the file but shows no info for the datecode and timecode, and won't even provide a preview of the video. So something is not working the way I want it to in the conversion process. If directly inlaying date and time into the MOV video is not possible, then maybe a different tool for converting to AVI would allow DVDate or another software to do so???
Thanks!
Brian
