  3. does it do the same thing on the computer... if not it may be the dvd player or the media you are using... if it does do the same thing on the comp then it is somewhere in your vcd creation proccess.

Please try not to "bump" your topic back to the top (it's annoying) and try to have some patience. This is a bulletin board, not IRC. It may take some time (e.g., one or two days) before someone can answer your query or question.

  6. Sometimes a DVD player will say it's compatible with VCD's but not altogether. My GO Video (from Samsung) said it was, but also played choppily. So for my next puchase, I brought the media down to the store (VCD CD-R, VCD CD-RW, MP3 CD-R) to test. The Panasonic 31K worked beautifully (and still does) - less than $200.00.

Hi How are you ripping it from disk and how and what with are you encoding it with ?

try encoding like for like. if you play the VOb in DVD2avi it will tell you if the video is Progressive or interlaced make sure that you encode has the same has the Vob is done This has worked for me also if its VCD make sure in are using the VCD standard and not some XVCD. eg 1150Kbit for vid and 224k for audio fr a true vcd

  8. Im converting it from avi. to mpeg. When I play it back it plays fine. When I burn it , the audio and video gets chopy as in "pauses every 2 to 3 sec". I tried to burn it with nero and EZcd 5 and still does the same thing. Can my CPU or my burner cause this, or even somethig running at the same time cause this. I dont think anything is running when I burn.

    thanks
