recently I've downloaded a few videos in RMVB format WITH H.264 vid compression.. so how do I do it?

I'm guessing this method is pretty new.. just tell me what software(s) I need to DL to do it.

Any particular reason you would want to create such a odd format that would be very difficult to do much of anything with? There aren't that many RMVB encoders around, so your choices are limited. You could try RealAnime or RealProducer.

Why not just encode to H.264 and leave Real out of it completely?

    And welcome to our forums.

rmvb makes the smallest file size, that's why.

Real Audio 10 is just a variant of AAC audio, and Real Video 10 is just a variant of h.264.

If you do some head to head testing, you will find h.264 is better than .rmvb (RV10) at the same low bitrates. Both are miles ahead of DivX and XviD. I've done quite a few tests myself, but you should see for yourself.

    Cheers
