I just opened a topic about a problem converting a VTS movie to MPG.
Now I just realised that converting to any other format is impossible.

I've done this thing so many times so I know how to do this.
But it seems like this VOB Video has some kind of protection. Every format I convert the movie to plays with incredibly low fps. 1 or less and when I reconvert the MPG to another format (I had to convert to M2v because I want to edit the movie in Maestro) It plays in a serie of several square blocks as if I got a resolution of 30:20.

And when Im trying to convert the movie to .AVI it doesnt play at all. If I desperately import the m2v file in DVD maestro it loads for 00:00:00:01 seconds and when I restream the m2v file the movie does plays better but then maestro stops importing the movie at 100%

I think its some kinda protection on the movie. But then It's kind strange that I was able to rip the movie with dvd decrypter. Cause the original movie in VOB extension plays just normal.

Have you tried DVDFab HD Decrypter yet? It seems to have helped a lot of people backup their newer DVD's.

    Tool vs title

Meaning, you should have known by now that dvddecrypter is nolonger updated, and you should have moved onto dvdfabhddecrypter

Sounds like some of the methods used to protect dvd's have not be removed as yet via your process.
