Would I be the first one to point out that

	A) Your question is sorta hard to make out, the way you phrased it?

 B) Nero (especially the suite that comes with most burners) is known to be buggy as hell and not particularly reliable or predictable for anything.

 C) You might try using "DVDFlick" to convert the AVI files to MPEG2, and "ImgBurn" to burn the DVDs. If it still takes hours for some AVIs, they could just be defective causing the transcoder to work overtime trying to repair them.

I using those programs right now and will see how it work tommorrow but after i get dun converting them how do i burn it with the imgburner
because i always just burned mpegs with nero
 Ps thanks for the help

I've never used Nero for this type of conversion, but some conversion programs will skip the encoding process if the input files meet DVD specs (hence your 10 minute "encoding" times). The files that take hours are actually being converted (encoded) into a DVD compliant mpeg file. Google is your Friend
