I just finished, and am very proud of the Home theater Computer I just built. It was built around the Gigabyte GA-MA69GM-S2H that has both HDMI and DVI-D and VGA outputs. I know that this will play blue ray disk. My question is I would like to build another media center using an older Gigabyte GA-MA69VM-S2 board which only has the VGA and a SVHS output. Can I still channel the blue ray signal from the computer to my TV or will I have to add an hdmi or dvi card to do it. Thanks in advance for all the advice Forgive me, I am a newbie to this.![]()

You'll need to make sure your video card is HDCP capable in order to view copy protected BLU-RAY movie discs if you're using a 1080p lcd tv. Also the computer monitor would need to be HDCP capable as well.
