PHPbb failure to load

Hey its me again 2 posts in one day, i know.

Anyways, i was gonna also make a forum on my site just to see how i can make it look, bout what i dont know yet.

For those who use phpbb, help me out here

I go dl it ok, i notice in the readme and on here, the forum page is index.php

I try to open it up in IE, and it tried to dl the file rather than view it.
So i think it might be my server, i shut it down and try it-
Does the same thing.

It loads fine here, what am i doin wrong?

Your server must support PHP, www.php.net , and mySQL, www.mysql.com .

ok i understand that.

Would it also happen even if im just trying to load it in ie without running the server?


Cuz im pretty sure if i dl the index.php from the forum, it would probably load cuz it wont even load if im not online
