Hey, i was wondering if it was a good idea to run a channel on mirc on probably efnet.
NOT TO BE DISTRIBUTING WAREZ!!!
I was wanting to make like a large help chat on there only.
Since efnet is full of the "other stuff," it's up to u if u wanna break the law.
I was wantin to make a channel maybe cuz i was on mirc last night and usually when u use mirc, u are only on there for 1 reason, to download, never to chat to people in the main channel.
I was bout to go to bed last night and i answered 1 persons question and at that moment, i had 6 people talkin to me rather than dl, which is good.
Always feel good to help people out.
I had ims thru aim and msn emails galore, it was gettin crazy.
Since no one person can answer bout 6 people at once, what do u think about runnin a channel on mirc for help?
Now, in my case, since i work and go to school, there would have to be more than just 1 op.
Does this sound interesting?

Sure its a good idea if you have the time but a less ambitious move might be to just visit #pc-dvds on effnet. Its a help channel similar to the one you are considering creating and there are already some incredibly knowledgeable people on there.

realy thats cool thanks for info
How hard is it to be op-ed there?
Reason why i ask is for here, u dont have to be in high ranking to answer peoples questions but like on mirc, people are expecting answers from ops and when members answer members, it might throw the op off a bitShiZZZoN PzN

I'm sure they have plenty of ops or else the channel wouldnt have lasted as long as it has. Op status has nothing to do with intelligence or credibility, if you give good advice then people will listen.
