    Hi all,

I am trying to convert some captured PAL DV type 1 (av locked) footage to WMV9 for web use.

The problem is that i get interlace artifacts on the WMV video image. I see wavey lines around edges that move. Static parts of the clips are not so bad.

I have been through a whole bunch of WMV profile setting but i cannot remove the interlace lines.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to achieve this?

    Thanks

Avisynth. Use a script to deinterlace and resize to the resolution you will be encoding at.
