hey i have a movie that i downloaded from the net. when the movie downloaded it came in two parts. the file type i think is Xvid. is there a way to combine the file type to put it onto a dvd or is there another way. i prefer mpeg files.

	AVI Demux will happily combine them (file -> load, then file -> append - remember to add.avi to the file name when you save) 
 
 If you convert them to mpeg files they will be 4 times the size if you want the same quality. Only convert them if you want to make a DVD, in which case use DVD Flick and let it join, encode and author them.Read my blog here.
