I have a TV card (I am in Pal country). In Settings, there are various display sizes to choose from. The default is
640x480, but other sizes are available (see screenshot). My question is, what size should I chose for the clearest picture? I tried choosing a larger size (like 720x576), but I couldn't see any difference in picture clarity.

720x576 .You were right the first time
But it depends of what you're wanna do and what's your source (regular tv/ antenna?)
If you just wanna watch tv i suggest to use the freeware "dscaler" (if compatible with your card) and use a size of 768x576 and tom's comp deinterlace.*** DIGITIZING VHS / ANALOG VIDEOS SINCE 2001**** GEAR: JVC HR-S7700MS, TOSHIBA V733EF AND MORE
