Will Office XP Pro run on an XP Home system? I have had second hand reports of problems.

I don't see why not. The only difference between Office Pro and a normal bundle would probably be the inclusion of FrontPage, Publisher, Visio, or OneNote? Aside from that the applications alone work on XP Home or Pro equally.

The pro and the home notation of the different software and OS don't exclude each other. So yes, it should run just fine.
