    continue,
1/I already tried the shrink function, I did not work. Now I know it didn't work because my material is multiplexed.
2/After the first burn, I checked the video-ts folder, the files for main menu and titlesetmenu are empty. this explains why I have the above problem.

I 'TIVO' shows to my laptop and use gfd's 'Create ISO' option and then burn with ImgBurn. I like to check my chapter marks and such and the ISO opens easily in VLC. It also allows me to make multiple copies easily.

I can make multiple copies too. The problem is only the first copy has the main menu and titlesetmenu screens. I think only Borax can help because he developes the software.

Did you even read my post? Have GFD create an ISO and you can burn as many copies of that ISO as you want. To check if the ISO is complete and proper, use VLC.

  5. But only the very first copy has main menu and titlesetmenu screens, after that all other copies only contain the main movies with chapters. I already tried many times and got the same result.
What do you mean by 'copy'? If you create a new project (usually each movie/each bunch of movies is a new project), you have to recreate the menus. You can reuse the old project (if you have saved it) and just 'exchange' the video (and audio) files with the new movie. In this case the menus are still there, but you have to check yourself if these are still correct (another movie or i.e. bunch of movies will probably have other chapters). And check if you have used the correct default settings in GfD (i.e. default project setting and default permanent settings)

Muxman will only accept demultiplexed material.

Then there should be an error in the log. Please check (or post it here).

    Hi borax,
I 'd like to post "log" here for you to check, but I don't know where the "log" is and how to post it.
I ran another project and still had problem. this time it is slightly difference. The very first disc I burned out ( I called "copy" previously) only contained the main movie (no main menu, titlesetmenu). I checked the video-ts folder, it did show the main menu and titlesetmenu. I burned again and the second disc still had the same problem. thank you for your time.

  8. ... it did show the main menu and titlesetmenu. I burned again
How did you burn the disk?

The log can be found in your Output directory (as configured in GfD Default Project settings). The file is named GUIAuthor.log

    Hi Borax,
I found "gfdauthor text document". I think it is the "log" you want. If so,Please show me how to post it here. Thank you.

  10. Yes, probably it is the log file. It depends on the settings in your Windows Explorer view if you can see the full file name. To post it here, click on 'post reply' (not the 'Quick Reply' frame/button). Then you can use the 'Upload image or file' function. Click 'Browse...' find the GUIAuthor.log file in your GfD output folder, click 'Open' and submit the reply with the attached file.

Hi Borax, here is the log.
Also I was working on another project, when I clicked "visual chapter editor" after loading audio and video I got this message "No GOP header found" and it stopped right there. How to fix this? thank you

  12. The log file seems to be ok. The titlesetmenu (with the chapters) is created without errors. You should find it in the VIDEO_TS folder (the file should be named Vts_01_0.vob). If the DVD doesn't show the chaptermenu, there is something wrong with your settings. For further analyzing, I would need the saved project file (xxx.gfd) and the created muxman.mxp file from the temp folder: ...\My Documents\GFDOutDir\Temp\muxman.mxp. Pack both files into a zip archive file and post it here.

"No GOP header found" is a strange error. Normally each elementary MPG file (mpv or m2v) has a GOP header in the first few bytes. If not, GfD or chapeditgfd cannot get the video properties from the MPG file. Does GfD itself find the GOP header, but chapeditgfd not? You may try to use ProjectX (it usually repairs such problems) or try a repair tool like Restream.

    Hi Borax,
"No GOP header found" means that my video clip didn't start at the right frame after editing. I had to re-edit it and it is OK.
Over the weekend I switched to work with ISOimage/Imgburn. So far it runs smoothly and I am happy with it.
I have to say your GFD is excellent. It allows me to do my project the way I want. And best of all, your support is second to none.
    Thank you very much.
