I want to add a 2nd HDMI cable.

    Please understand:
    1. TV is already mounted
    2. TV has 1 HDMI cable (has inputs for 3)

I don't want to take out any cables. I want to "add another HDMI cable" through the wall like the other one.

Question: How do I add another HDMI cable when the TV is mounted to the wall with cables/wires going through the wall?

Electricians use a fish tape (bent wire fishing like pole) to run a piece of cord between the holes and use the cord to pull the cable through. You can rent the fish tape then leave a cord in there for pulling future cables.

This is what I have done in a situation like yours.
I took one of the cables that was already on the tv off and tied a cord to it.
I then pulled the cable back through the wall. I tied the new cable to the cord/old cable, used some electrical tape to give the bundle a fair lead and using the cord I pulled the two cables back up to the hole at the tv. Re connected original cable and connected the new cable.
    I hope this helps.

Yes, both ways will work. (edDV & misterbill) I hate to break base on my wall again. I was hoping I could fish the new cable from the outlet up to the TV.

    Can I?
Is there any way to do this WITHOUT breaking my wall again?

PS. I could buy a HDMI switcher, but I am so tired of spending money on this TV. Besides I just bought the 2nd HDMI cable.
