I have some files for one movie that are split into 2 folders, Disc1 and Disc2. The whole movie can fit on one DVD (not sure why there are 2 folders), but both sets have in the VIDEO_TS folder:
    VIDEO_TS.BUP
    VIDEO_TS.IFO
    VTS_01_0.BUP
    VTS_01_0.ISO
VTS_01_0.VOB (the Disc2 folder doesn't have this one only)
    VTS_01_1.VOB
    VTS_01_2.VOB
    VTS_01_3.VOB

Is there a way to put them in order onto one DVD? Nero tells me that I can't have 2 files with the same name, and I'm not sure how and which files to rename if I can do that. I also read somewhere that you can only have 5 VOB files on a DVD, and I have a total of 7.
Thanks for any help you can provide! Never had this situation and trying to avoid too many coasters!

You can't just rename the files. You can use the free dvd shrink to join. See https://forum.videohelp.com/topic284279.html .

Actually, you shouldn't believe everything you read. Number of titles and VOBs =
Up to 99(1-99) titles with max 10(0-9) VOB files each
That makes about 1000 VOBs max per DVD.

For correct DVD information, see 'WHAT IS' DVD to the upper left on this page.

But VOBs are usually 1GB maximum, so the size of your media would dictate how many would fit, generally about 7 on DL media and 4 on single layer.

    And welcome to our forums.
