    Hi, Is there a freebee lossless codec that can be used in vegas platinum 8 and quicktime pro? QT refuses lagarith huffyuv, lossless x264 - I just stop trying. I want the aac audio.

    Not lossless, but you might try a DV codec. Maybe Cedocida DV Codec or the Panasonic DV codec. Or you can look through the codecs in our 'Tools' listing. https://www.videohelp.com/tools/sections/codecs

    Or you could try Uncompressed RGB, such as from VirtaulDub, but the file size would be really huge.
