    I know this subject has been addressed many time before. But I need to scan hundreds of photos. Have there been any new scanners or software improvements to make this task easier and quicker

  2. Pending your budget, I bought one of these for the shop a few months ago:

    Love it

    It scans about 300 photos an hour at 300dpi. About 250 at 400dpi.

    It's actually come down almost $200 since I got mine.

    Highly recommend it. Check around though you may find similar scanners now from other companies for a little less.
