Looking for this firmware for USB long filenames, the links don't work.

    Thanks

Those links did work only 2-3 weeks ago...

    In any case try:

    USB Long Name, NO HDMI

    Simply Modded, HDMI intact:

This mod is great! Thank you. Would it be possible to provide a more detailed explanation of how to replace the On-Screen Display images using these tools?

    Thanks

  4. Ryan's firmware is great! It was a sorely lacking feature to be unable to access a DIVX by time.

I did encounter one bug: As I was navigating the setup menus, in the subtitle font selection, the DVD player suffered a hard crash: multicolor random pixels on the screen and the LED panel was showing star-like (all segments on). I disconnected the power cord to reset it (came back normally).

Note: I did not 'reset to factory settings' after flashing the firmware. This may be why it crashed.

  5. I just ran across this thread. The GOTO function was SO badly needed, especially given the extremely slow FF from USB.

    * WordWrap + Reformat for subtitles
I couldn't find a setting for the word wrap. Its seems that they do NOT wrap. Someone mentioned the 'flashing' subtitles, but if you play with the font color/size this works itself out, or at least it did for me.

    * The arrows on the browser were replaced by a scroll bar
    The arrows were better.

    * New menu called: "DVD Quick Play" in Setup
Didn't see it. It would be nice to have, especially on Disney movies [I have kids].
