    Eventually, this gonna turn a cheap commercial alternative to x264.

    What I really like on elecard is their attitude: The demo versions ad a small watermark in the corner on the screen, which is on the overscan TV area and you might not even notice that it is there. The codecs works good also.
    That makes the Elecard codecs practically near-freeware! I like this idea, so if someone needs a commercial codec, may well consider this one. We must support the good ideas, especially when they are cheap ones!

    This is good news. Elecard has some good stuff.

    Unfortunately their last codec line, particularly for H.264, had no quality-based encoding (unless I missed it) and they had no AVC blu-ray/AVCHD presets (only to convert from those formats).

    Looking forward to what they'll do now.
    I hate VHS. I always did.
