How to create a recovery file ?

Hi,

Does it exist some software that can build a "recovery" file (like in Winrar which allows to add some percents of recovery datas) from all the files stored on a freshly burned dvd ?

Ie: I burn a dvd with hundreds of holiday photos on a single dvd but sometimes dvd's tends to become unreadable after several years. So if some files become damaged, they can be repaired from the recovery file.
