First ill start by saying hello to everyone. I have been doing some research here about the Intensity Pro card, and decided to register to be more interactive in my research. At this point I have already ordered and built my new computer to prepare for the device. One thing I just realized though is that the card apparently doesn't support Windows XP Home Edition, the OS I have actually purchased, and am using to type to you now. I know that I should have been more aware of this fact since on their site it lists the operating systems they actually support, but whats done is done. My question now is what are the justifications of excluding Home Edition from the compatibility list? What is missing from Home Edition that is vital for the hardware to work? I just want to know my options before I go ahead and buy XP Professional.

The point of my new computer and this capture card is to record footage from my Xbox 360 and create content for my gaming website. Any information given is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

That seems kinda strange, because the main difference between home and pro is domain and AD based network logins. Is it recognized by the Windows OS under the hardware config?
