This is a very tightly compressed avi file (about 115MB). When I try to convert to DVD with Nero the sound and video are out of syn. To play it on win media player I have to use an ffdshow codec. Are there any suggestions for software that can convert this file to a DVD viewable file?

FAVC, DVD Flick, ConvertXToDVD may work better than Nero. What formats are the audio/video in the file? You can drop it into Gspot to find out. The sync problem may just be from MP3 VBR audio.
