Hi Guys
My Friend has a Nippotec MT-8700 DVD Standalone player. It was good until he messes with the remote and lost everything. It was connected to a (SCART TO PHONO) he was messing around with the remote on the GRAPHIC par section on the menu and by mistake he presses COMPOSITE. Now the problem is that there is no picture when the DVD is connected to the (Scart to Phono) option. The DVD uses the MT1379GE Mediatek board which holds the graphic save option. Can someone tell me how can I reset this chip like from the start when it was new. I searched on the web maybe there is a firmware but NIPPOTEC I dont know maybe does not exist lol. Anyway I'll appriciate if someone could help me sort out this problem I know that some players might use this chip or other Mediatek boards I only want to know how to reset this MT1379GE Integrated Chip
THANKS!!!!

The only way to change them that I'm aware of is through the menu system. In which case, you will need to connect it via composite to the TV (or another TV) and switch it back or get another player of the same model and use it as a reference to get through the menu and make the changes.
