    Plz tell me will the on board sound card enough for DVD authorizing. Or will the on board sound card create sync problems

    Just to add, you wouldn't have sync problems when just authoring anyway. Those are more common with encoding or capturing. Authoring is only the process of creating the DVD structure. The MPEG files are not altered, just rearranged. Some authoring programs can re-encode and that might cause problems, but if the file needs re-encoding, you already have a problem.

    Or, if you are asking about capturing video while separately feeding the audio into a sound card to be recombined with the video at some point, then you can create sync problems. But whether you used a on-board or PCI audio card, those problems would usually be the same.
