I'm looking for a way to convert a short promo that's on DVD to .SWF to show on a website. I am not a flash programmer and I don't kow much or anything about flash (or have any flash authoring tools). This is a one time thing so I can't justify buying Adobe's product.
I can or am about to convert the DVD to mpg, I don't know if that helps!
I just need some way to put the video on a website.
Thanks

I think the program Super (it's free) can do this, but there may be better options available. I just point that out as the only possibility I know of.
I found this guide which lists another free tool and says that Super can also be used.

You might find Winff to be much more user-friendly than SUPER.

Just a suggestion: you will get a better quality if you convert it to wmv or divx.
Divx and wmv will play fine on any computer. Just use the normal html tags for video.
Flv is crap especially if you put it on Youtube.
