Some DVD authoring tools, such as Impression or DVDit or ReelDVD require video and audio as separate streams.
Most accept PCM audio files but these take up a lot of room. PAL DVD players also accept MPEG Layer 2 audio files - much smaller than PCM.
I'm using Ligos MPEG plugin for Adobe Premiere to create the m2v and mpa video/audio files. However the audio file does not contain any CRC error checking. And ReelDVD does require that.
Is there any tool that either can convert/add this CRC information to the mpa file or one that can generate it from a plain PCM file?
