  1. Is it possible to burn a vid to a cd and make it so it's not finalized?
I chose not to finalize the CD, but when I came back to put another vid on it it said something about the median(or something) not being blank. I don't want to watch it, I just want to start burning one vid and come back to burn the other instead of leaving it on the computer.

I don't have time to convert all my vids at once so I can put them on a cd at once.

  2. I know I'm not supposed to bump, but it's either that or post a new topic.

    I need to know.

  3. I haven't done it much, but I don't remember much trouble when I tried it.

Why don't YOU try it once? What's the worst that can happen? You make a coaster out of one CD-R? If that bothers you try using a CD-RW for your test disc.

in nero, once you eject the disk you are through, you cannot come back and add more to it, it is the same as finalizing it. cd creator will allow you to keep a disk open for later use but you cannot play it on most cd players or dvd players untill you close it, and cd creator is not a very good burner for video work, if you want to build a disk up as you go then use cdrw's instead of cdr's, most players will play them or when you get what you want your can just tranfer to a cdr.

  5. I'm not sure if you've tried adding the mpeg with the extension changed to .dat. and putting it in the right folder but the problem might be the same as in an audio cd once a session is closed you can't add tracks and expect them to play on a stand alone cd player (excluding mp3 players and the such)
give a try to changing the extention and making sure you did'nt finalize the original disk (and that you have enough room left of course).
i'd like to hear how that goes...
