I am trying to remove an overdub of french naration over
an english speaking person.
I have tried virtual dub for mpeg2 files and it seems to work ok but it doesnt show
the audio track, only the video.
I am using win xp home.
Tried win movie maker,. . . useless.
Cheers

Most likely, the 2 voices are overlaid on the same audio track (if you hear both simultaneously that's a fact) and there's nothing you can do about it, except find the audio without the French dub, and replace the audio.

i am hoping its not the case, the english is being translated to french, you here the english momentarily, then the french translater steps in at a different volume level.

Then the 2 voices are in the same audio stream, and you can't simply disable one of them.
