Downloading Files to MP4 Player/Ipod From Computer

Hi.

I have a MP4 player and i'm trying to download AVM video files from the computer to the player.

I'm trying to download files via Windows Media Player 10 but i get the following come up

Windows Media Player cannot add the file to the library because the file format is not supported.

Can some please help with this or suggest another way of doing this?

The person i bought it from is not being very helpful when asked i got this reply

Recommend just dragging and dropping it on through My Computer

I haven't a clue what he means.

he means to open windows explorer & make it so both explorer and your program's window display at the same time, then drag and drop from explorer into the program
however, your error message says you can't use those file types
you may have to use super to convert them first
