    Hey people,
Long time lurker first time poster. I'm having a little problem playing AVI files on my computer and I thought what better place to go for asking for help then here. Hopefully someone can assist me with this problem. Basically, I have reformatted my computer for the upteenth time and now I am having problems playing back AVI files. Below are two links to the screenshots of how AVI's play in WMP, and in WMC. Whenever I play the AVI file in WMP, Zoom, or Windows Media Classic, I get the garbled AVI image you see there. However, whenever I play them in Windows Media Center, I get the nice crystal clear image you see in the second image. I am at a loss what to do to alleviate this problem. I prefer other media players instead of Windows Media Center because Windows Media Center doesn't have abilities to seek my video if I stopped in the middle or something the other day. I appreciate the help if this question gets answered.

The same thing happens in VLC. I'm going to try to roll back the drivers and see what happens. Sadly, I didn't test the video playback before installing the driver. Now I have to take time out to roll them back.

I was right on the money. Rolled back the driver and everything seemed to be okay. Thanks for help.
