Help. Newbie, creating VCD's for Dreamcast VCD player

HI,

I am looking for info on where to start. I want to do three things:

1. download movies and play them on my Dreamcast VCD player (this thing: http://www.psxdepot.com/dcvcdplayer.html)

2. take 1/2 hour episodes and combine them to play them on the same console.

3. find out which are the best (and free) programs to do this. If you know of any big name programs that do require $$, I can do that. I have the newset version of NERO right now

In my opinion making VCD's for the DC is worthless. The quality is noticibly crap with pixels and the like galore.

true the quality is not top notch but its not all that bad a watchable

Yeh, I noticed that it stayed ok but really fucked up big time when a transition happened. This was what really screwed my VCD up because it was the Star Wars: AOTC trailer and everyone here knows how much George Lucas likes to use transitions.
