  1. I've been using a combination of DVRMSToolbox and VirtualDub to convert my DVR-MS files to divx. It's great, works well, but is time consuming. It's mostly my kids shows that I'm doing this to, and I'd love a way to have it automatically convert every show in my Recorded TV folder to Divx. Perhaps a tool that could watch that folder, and start a conversion whenever it finds a new file?

Is there such a tool out there?

    Thanks.

I sure will. I can understand sometimes tools like these that seem too good to be true might have a few quirks, or may not have the best output, but I'm hopin for the best! Honestly, for what I need it for, it doesn't have to be all that great. I'm basically just using it to convert all my 3-year-old's shows to divx, so she can watch them on our DVD player downstairs so my wife can still use the MCE machine upstairs. But I'll be sure to let you know how it goes.

  6. Hey, just to let you know, I tried out MCEBuddy, and it works great! I love it, it's the perfect tool. I put my comment in the tools list. Thanks for the suggestion. Supposed I could have hit up thegreenbutton community first, looks like a fairly big hit over there.
