Not every web site can be ripped from.

Different web sites and different video types may need different approaches and different software.

You need to be more specific about what you are trying to to - what web site and clips - to get a more specific answer.

Yep, Orbit is a good choice.

Btw: everything you see , is located on your HD - not on the website.
So it´s easier - if no download works - to open the temporal internet folder, look for the bigger files - and copy the file to another folder.
Check the extension, if it´s .tmp or something. change it to the real one.

Just play the video until its end, don´t close the website, and open temp folder. Good luck !

It makes it very difficult. In the case of this site, if you can't get access to the player, you can't get access to the video.

An open (.uk) proxy would help here, that's kind of out of the scope of the actual post, and something tells me out of the OPs grasp of the intarwebs.

I'm trying to download the interviews on this site.

    http://video.globo.com/Videos/Busca/0,,7959,00.html?b=ant%C3%B4nio%20lobo%20antunes

I managed to download the first one, with CocSoft Streamdown.
    The rest I couldn't.
Tried algo Replay Media Catcher, WMRecorder, some FF plugins and Orbit. No luck.
    Can anyone try it?

Will Replay Media Catcher download videos and shows from NBC.com, ABC.com, CBS.com, and Fox.com? I would like to be able to download hour shows and them watch them on my Creative Zen Vision W. As for Fox.com, I've had to watch some of my favorite Fox shows on the computer lately. Time Warner Cable and the company that owns the local Fox affiliate here in Green Bay are in the middle of a dispute and Fox is no longer available on Time Warner Cable. We either have to watch Fox with an antenna or on the website. I would like to download the shows, burn them to a rewriteable DVD and watch them on my big screen TV.

Will this program do it for me?

    Thank you for any advice.

Just try the trial and see if it can find the streams when you play the video.

Or maybe time for you to get/build a HTPC!

As Baldrick suggested I downloaded Replay Media Catcher and was happy to find out it works flawlessly on NBC.com and on SciFi.com. So happy, in fact, that I bought it immediately figuring I had just found the holy grail.

Then, after spending $40 I went to Fox.com, ABC.com, CBS.com, and BBCAmerica.com and found out it wouldn't work on whatever format those websites use. (No lectures on impulsiveness, please!) I guess I will watching a lot of NBC and Sci Fi programming on my Creative Zen W.

Does anybody else have any other programs for me to try. More specifically, has anybody had any success downloading videos from any or all of the websites in question above? At this point Freeware would be nice but not a deal breaker.

    Thanks for any further suggestions.
