So I've got some videos that I converted to avi with the xVid codec and pcm wav audio using Super. When I dump them into Premiere I get an error saying that the audio format is unsupported. So I tried changing the sampling frequency and even using MPEG-4V2 and I still get the same error. I've also tried converting it with the MPEG-1 codec and when I import it to premiere it gives me static video and no audio. I've also tried using mp3 audio instead of wav and I still get the same error. Does anyone know of a codec that will be supported by Vegas, Premiere, and Encore?

    What is your source video?

Try use uncompressed or mjpeg with wav/lpcm in super. xvid is not that good for editing.

My source video is usually a rendered avi from vegas, but I need to compress it and still be able to edit it after it's compressed just in case. I have TB's of video and I need to keep them compressed.
