    Hi, this is the first time I've used vegas I have a few VCL media video files I want to play with, I can hear the sound when I click on preview but I can't get a preview window with the video, the video's where made with a still camera fuji finepix f10, The only video editing I've done is with nero

    try using gspot to identify the video codec used by your cam. probably some sort of mjpeg i'd guess. if you can play them on the computer but vegas won't open the video portion you'll need to find a way to convert the cam files to another format before importing to vegas. DVavi would be a good choice.
